About the Position California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) is seeking a Clinical Social Worker to provide mental health services to inmates. The position may involve telehealth, headquarters or onsite duties. Salary Annual salary ranges: Licensed: $111,828 – $126,828. Pre‑Licensed: $104,136 – $117,888. In‑person care in an inpatient unit: Licensed $126,348 – $145,848, Pre‑Licensed $117,636 – $135,576. Bonuses New hires delivering 50%+ onsite care receive a 1% Recruitment and Retention bonus for the first 7 years, increasing each year up to 7%. Eligible for up to $30,000 bonus within first 12 months. Referral bonus of $5,000 per successful referral. Work Locations MCSP (Ione) HDSP (Susanville/Reno) California Correctional Health Care Facility (Stockton) California Correctional Institution (Tehachapi) California State Prison, Sacramento (Represa) Substance Abuse Treatment Facility (Corcoran) Responsibilities Conduct assessments and summarize case information for diagnosis, treatment, and disposition release. Diagnose and/or collaborate in formulation of a diagnosis. Develop, monitor, and modify treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary treatment team. Provide assessments, group therapy, and collateral conferences. Document and evaluate patients’ progress in treatment. Coordinate placement with community resources for patients returning to their communities. Minimum Qualifications California licensure (pre‑licensed CSWs may be appointed but must obtain licensure).
