Position: Anesthesiologist – Overlook Medical Center, Summit, NJ We are seeking a board‑certified anesthesiologist to join the anesthesia team at Overlook Medical Center in northern New Jersey. About the Hospital Overlook Medical Center is a 350‑bed facility in Summit, NJ, offering advanced services including a Level IV Epilepsy Center, a hub for the New Jersey Stroke Network, and the Atlantic Neuroscience Institute. Team leadership under Dr. Manoj Shahane, Chief Anesthesiologist. Responsibilities Assist in directing and coordinating anesthesia department activities Medical management of patients undergoing procedures requiring anesthesia Conduct pre‑anesthesia assessments, obtain patient consent, and discuss risks and options Induce, maintain, and manage emergence from anesthesia Monitor patients’ physiological status and perform clinical interventions as needed Qualifications M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school ECFMC and FLEX scores Completion of an approved anesthesia residency Current medical license in New Jersey Location & Lifestyle Summit, NJ is an affluent, family‑friendly suburb with parks, walking trails, a historic downtown, and vibrant cultural events.
