Senior Business Solutions Manager at Ledgent Finance & Accounting Key Responsibilities: Provide strong leadership that fosters a positive culture, high engagement, and team development. Ensure timely and accurate processing through effective training, coaching, problem-solving, and performance management. Maintain fiscal records, lead month-end close, and prepare financial reports summarizing performance, trends, and forecasts. Conduct monthly and quarterly analytical reviews for assigned locations and consolidated results. Develop, maintain, and enhance internal controls. Oversee general ledger entries, reconciliation reviews, and close processes; analyze and communicate results to senior leadership. Partner with external accounting and tax professionals on reporting and compliance. Support budget planning, forecasting, and procurement-related financial activities. Manage all timelines and deliverables tied to financial close and reporting. Prepare and submit monthly sales tax returns. Assist with annual audit preparation, tax filings, and other compliance requirements. Provide cross-functional backup support within the accounting department. Identify and mitigate risk across assigned business units. Perform additional duties as needed.
