If you're ready to roll up your sleeves, treat the business as if it is your own and add value accordingly, come see why we're Calumet Proud!The Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for supervising overall purchasing processes and activities, which include contracting, bidding, and procuring products and services.Key Objectives And Responsibilities:Review and approve purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Develop and maintain related documentation.Manage vendor relations, which includes maintaining vendor report card and supervising vendor performance.Evaluate suppliers for material, service, performance, and price, which includes qualifying and/or approving new suppliers and contractors.Maintain inventory of production materials and perform daily and quarterly reviews of inventory levels. Set stock reorder quantities.Act as a subject matter expert on purchasing policies, procedures, and guidelines.Supervise assigned staff.Other duties as assigned.Required Education/Experiences:Bachelor's degreeExperience with Procurement and/or Purchasing in Oil and Gas industryKnowledge of MRP (material requirements planning) processes in an ERP systemCompetencies:Demonstration of Calumet Values – Safety, Environment & Social Responsibility, Teamwork, Ownership, Passion for Customers, and ExcellenceSalary and benefits commensurate with experience.
