Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Operating Room RN

Shift: 5x8 Days M-F 6:50am-3:20pm, with min of 1-2 call shift per week, and one weekend of call per month. Must have ortho experience. Orientation held every other week on Friday.

Ratios: 1 RN to 1 or 2 surgical techs. Years of experience required: 2 years RN required - at least 1 year OR experience to sub. First-timers accepted: No. Weekend requirement: Not scheduled, on call only.

Certifications required: ACLS/BLS. Is on-call required? Yes. One day per week, one weekend per month.

Locals accepted: Yes. Local radius rule: 100 mile radius. Pending license accepted: Yes. RTO restrictions: No. Guaranteed hours: 32-40 hours per week. Special requirements: No.

Submission requirements: Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 years after last day worked perm. Flu shot: Please do not send anyone who refuses flu shot without medical proof. CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC flu season is October 1st - March 31st. Not required outside of that window. Covid vaccine not required.
