Aerospace & Aviation Instructor

Posted Until Filled Collins CTC is hiring an Aerospace & Aviation Instructor to lead our aviation career pathway for high school students. This role introduces students to careers in professional piloting and/or aircraft maintenance. You'll teach ground school content, run hands‑on labs with simulators and aircraft components, and help students earn industry certifications and connections that lead straight into aviation careers. We looked for the following strengths in this role, based on Gallop's CliftonStrengths® framework: Communication® shows up daily in this role. Aviation topics like aerodynamics, regulations, and airframe systems are technical. This instructor needs to break them down into lessons students can actually follow. Developer® fits because the job is built around watching students grow, from first exposure to a cockpit or engine bay all the way to a certification exam. Analytical® matters because aviation runs on checklists, regulations, and systems logic. An instructor who thinks this way will model that discipline for students.
