Position Overview:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Front of House Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front-of-house activities. From managing shifts and training staff to recruiting new team members and ensuring guest satisfaction, this position is instrumental in upholding our commitment to excellence in service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift Management:
  • Assist in managing daily front-of-house operations to ensure seamless service.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Staff Training and Development:
  • Train front-of-house staff on service standards, product knowledge, and customer interaction.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance performance and professionalism.
  • Support the General Manager in conducting regular performance reviews and setting development goals.
• Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Assist in recruiting and hiring front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and make hiring recommendations.
  • Coordinate onboarding and training programs to ensure new hires are equipped for success.
• Guest Satisfaction:
  • Proactively engage with guests to ensure a positive dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
  • Monitor service quality and resolve issues to uphold our reputation for excellence.
  • Collaborate with management to implement strategies for enhancing guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Scheduling and Labor Management:
  • Assist in creating and managing front-of-house schedules to optimize staffing levels and meet business needs.
  • Monitor labor costs and productivity to ensure alignment with budgetary targets.
  • Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate fluctuations in business volume and staffing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest issues effectively.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
