Charge Nurse (RN) – TLC Nursing Center Join our compassionate team at TLC Nursing Center located at 212 Ellen St., Oneonta. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to our residents and are seeking an experienced, compassionate Charge Nurse to oversee the nursing staff and ensure delivery of exceptional care. Key Responsibilities Supervise and direct nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care. Assess resident needs, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate care with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor residents for adverse reactions, and educate patients on medication management. Oversee resident assessments—including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition—and initiate appropriate interventions as needed. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, facility policies, and nursing standards of practice, including documentation, infection control, and resident rights. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes.
