Senior Portfolio Advisor

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a talented Senior Portfolio Advisor . This position consults with new and existing Co-op clients to identify areas for card portfolio growth and expense control. This position sells and performs consultation with clients and prospects as well as Client Business Executives and other internal partners to ensure client deliverables and revenue growth targets are achieved and exceeded. The individual in this role must have extensive knowledge of the card industry, card portfolio growth and management specifically credit and debit processing and be able to execute strategies to ensure positive revenue and expense lift. On average, Co-op clients experience a lift of interchange income of 20 percent due to Co-op's consultation, product redesign, project implementation and consumer marketing campaigns.

• Utilizes and builds advanced data and analytical models to ensure card portfolio optimization.

• Facilitates leadership with CBEs, Advance Analytics, and internal resources to build a desirable client portfolio growth plan and is solely responsibility for the success and execution of those plans.

• Facilitates and leads presentations to C-level executives and management on specific card topics and strategies.

• Creates and manages designated marketing campaigns and resourcing.

• Facilitates client calls to discuss plans, timelines, and execution.

• Actively resolves problems and roadblocks.

• Possesses the ability to speak to large groups and at executive levels.

• Analyzes and identifies trends and opportunities in the industry.

• Displays negotiation skills.

• Prioritizes multiple projects/engagements.

• Acts as a subject matter expert on the card industry, payments, platforms and products.

• Articulates and quickly solves complex problems.

• Demonstrates high business acumen.

• Displays the ability to ask the right questions, at the right time, to gain true understanding of clients goals.

• Demonstrates the ability to manage timelines and hold clients and vendors accountable.

• Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Experience with First Data and FIS platforms.

• Knowledge of the payments eco system.

• Financial institution experience.

• Payments industry, trends, business.

• Preparation and delivery of presentations and reports internally and externally.

• Extensive experience in card issuance and portfolio conversions gained in retail banking and/or payment card industry.

• Available to work onsite with clients preparing for and/or managing portfolio growth strategies and campaigns.

• Deep knowledge of payment card and banking operations (e.g., card issuing process, portfolio management, customer communications, back office operations).

• Previous experience in consulting is ideal; with proven project delivery know-how and expertise in consulting methodologies.

• High intellectual capability evidenced by excellent analytical skills.

• Strong knowledge of data analytics methodologies and tools and the use of data insights for business growth.

• Excellent client relationship management skills (also on senior executive level and across all levels of an organization).

• Deep sales orientation, experience selling major projects/ideas to senior management.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to comprehend and convey complex technical information.

• Excellent business acumen and analysis skills (research and analyze market and client information to tell a story).

• Ability to travel.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE :

• Bachelor's Degree required.

• 5-7 years experience in payments and financial institution card processing and platform management.

• 10 years payment processing in either debit, credit or both.

• Experience with Salesforce, Excel.

For California, Colorado and New York Applicants: In accordance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is between:

$98,000.00 - $124,000.00

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
