Tank Inspector TraineeRasmussen Trucking & Service Center is looking for a Tank Inspector Trainee to learn to inspect propane/gasoline tankers and perform maintenance and repair work on all types of tankers/propane bottles. This is a 3-year training program.Job DetailsThis is family owned and operated company and you will be working in a small group of 1-2 mechanics.We are looking for someone with dedication to his job and they can work independently to accomplish the timeline of goals.Require previous work experience with Semi Truck/Diesel repair for at least 2 years.ResponsibilitiesInspect, repair and load propane and gasoline bottles.Perform 5 year and annual VK, DEQ and other tank testing.Perform annual DOT inspection on propane and gasoline bottles.Scrape, wire wheel and paint interior and exterior of tanks as needed.Handle and maintain flow of materials and inventory.Follow safety guidelines.Maintain office and shop for a professional and organized appearance.Daily interaction with customers willing to provide exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries.Minimum RequirementsMust have your own tool box and basic tools.Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50lbs.
