IT Project Manager

Client currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.

- Project coordination responsibilities relating to technology implementations, upgrades, conversion, and recovery using the Enterprise Change tools and guidelines
- Manage/coordinate resources within and across various lines of business and has matrix management responsibility
- Balance soft skills, technical requirements, scheduling, milestone delivery of the technical solution
- Define and evaluate problems and plans effective solutions
- Identify possible issues before they become an issue and successfully mitigate to keep the project (and personnel) on schedule
- Succinctly present progress as well as issues and be able to provide possible solutions as well as take constructive criticism and not let it affect you
- Understand stakeholder's expectations and objectives
- Set and continually manage project expectations with management, team members and stakeholders
- Identify changing priorities within the project and move resources to continue the most effective use of the resources as many times you are competing for their time with other concurrent projects
- Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative manner
- Maintain system of records related to inventory detail updates
- Work closely with Engineering team and vendors so must be a strong communicator and collaborator
- Strong project manager with large enterprise experience in a financial/banking industry
- Experience in Change management
- Strong communicator and collaborator
- Proficient in SharePoint and be able to review and update information
- Able to oversee project changes and ensure everything is accurate front end to end
- Command of all PM processes
- Technology knowledge (looking for a technologist - strong in technology then teach the process and understanding of it)
- Microsoft (including Excel) and Oracle knowledge
- Able to present and host meetings via Zoom and Webex
- Experience working larger projects, coordination around technology projects, an understanding of physical installation, some of the processes around Remedy work orders, and global exchange experience with network and exchange server (600 servers going in and installed)
- Experience in Change management (financial/banking industry experience is a positive)
- Proficient in SharePoint and be able to review and update information
- Able to oversee project changes and ensure everything is accurate front end to end
- Able to be very sharp, know when to escalate when necessary, and be a strong problem solver
