X-ray Technologist

The position requires a professional to work in a dynamic Radiology department. The candidate will be responsible for performing General X-ray and Fluoroscopy imaging, among other duties. There are four general X-ray rooms and two fluoroscopy rooms available. The average number of studies performed ranges from 80 to 100 in a 24-hour period. Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, and PACS, is essential. The department uses GE, Shimadzu, and OEC equipment. Collaboration with imaging supervisors and lead techs is expected. Radiologists are present on-site 24/7. Some call may be necessary with a 45-minute response time. Scrubs are not provided, but personal scrubs are permitted as long as they are professional. Department-specific orientation typically occurs during the first three days of employment. There is a weekend requirement that varies based on departmental needs, including holidays. Overall, the position offers a robust experience for a skilled radiologic technologist in a fast-paced environment.
