Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in a 20-bed PICU with patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1
• Operate and monitor Philip monitors, Alaris and Medfusion IV pumps, and other unit equipment
• Manage care of patients experiencing respiratory failure, including ETT and HFOV
• Perform and assist with conscious sedations and CT placement
• Maintain and care for central lines in accordance with unit protocols
• Document accurately using the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of current PICU RN experience
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Post-operative cardiac experience
• Venous puncture skills
