Details 18-bed Labor & Delivery unit caring for laboring patients with high acuity Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Every other weekend required with holidays scheduled as needed Floating required to MAU, MBU, and OBSC, and may extend to any campus within the health system Uses Epic EMR, along with Triton and SurgiCount systems Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred Epic EMR experience required Proficiency in labor and delivery management including vaginal and C-section deliveries, fetal monitoring, and high-risk obstetric care Experience with IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and medication administration including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate Skilled in antepartum, postpartum, and neonatal care in the delivery room Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed) Additional Information Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care including fetal monitoring, high-risk delivery assistance, and postpartum management Care for patients with complex conditions such as pre-eclampsia, placenta previa, HELLP syndrome, and VBAC management First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted RTO must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted Third-party education verification required, with degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list not accepted No open background check cases permitted American Traveler Job ID P-749862.
