Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ Year of Stepdown Experience Required License: Michigan License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Proficiency in Cardiac Comfortability with EKG Willingness to float to similar units Description: The Registered Nurse utilizes clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. The RN plays a critical role in caring for patients with various cardiovascular issues. The unit cares for a high volume of cardiology patients and manages specialty procedures. The RN is responsible for providing care for patients, including those recovering from open heart surgeries and managing congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies. The registered nurse will contribute to the team’s commitment to optimal outcomes and exceptional patient care. Attendance is critically monitored in this position, with strict policies in place to uphold patient care standards. Candidates must possess a valid Michigan nursing license and complete a skills checklist prior to application.
