Dietary Aide

We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Dietary Aide to join our team! Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Dietary Aide to support our dietary services in our long-term care, nursing home, and rehabilitation center settings. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining environment, and supporting residents' nutritional needs under the direction of the dietary manager. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to planned menus and dietary guidelines Deliver meal trays to residents and assist with dining as needed Set up and break down dining areas and steam tables Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment; maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen Follow special diet orders and food preparation instructions accurately Store food and supplies properly to maintain freshness and safety Report any resident concerns or observations to the dietary manager or nursing staff Complete forms, logs, and records as required Requirements: Experience in a food service or healthcare dietary setting is a plus! Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required Completion of orientation required by company policy Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment Food Handler's Certification (as required by state) Benefits: We offer a comprehensive, nationwide benefits package designed to support the health and well-being of our employees and their families, including: Major Medical Insurance with three plan options to choose from, all offering access to nationwide provider networks.
