Details Hospital Surgery/General Surgical unit setting Night shift, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 4 days x 10 hours 13-week assignment Weekend requirement of 1-2 24-hour weekend call shifts On-call requirement of 1-2 call nights per week with charge duties as needed Floating to other departments required as needed EPIC EMR used Hospital scrubs provided Requirements Current New Mexico RN license or compact state RN license required BLS certification from AHA required ACLS certification from AHA required Minimum 1 year of RN experience required Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program Additional Information Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the surgical patient population Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care Perform various point of care testing procedures Participate in patient/family education and discharge planning Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility Previous CHRISTUS Health employees must have a 6-month separation before starting a new travel assignment First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-750627.
