Description Position Summary Are you a compassionate, detail-oriented RN who thrives in a surgical setting? At Columbia Orthopaedic Group, our Pre-Op/PACU Nurses provide exceptional patient care before and after surgery while helping create a safe, efficient, and positive experience for every patient. What You'll Do
- Assess, prepare, and monitor patients before and after surgical procedures
- Administer medications and treatments while assisting physicians as needed
- Provide patient and family education to support quality care and recovery
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control standards
- Collaborate with the surgical team to create a positive patient experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN license
- CPR and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of pre-op, intra-op, or PACU nursing experience
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Compassionate, patient-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
