ICU Critical Care Nurse - Sign-On Bonus & On-Site Intensivist

18-bed ICU and the only critical care unit in the hospital , handling the full spectrum of critical illness Acuity is growing: increasing STEMI volume, expanding surgical cases from recent physician additions Intensivist and ICU APPs are on-site with an office on the floor , not on-call from a remote location PER response team available when you need them Lab techs draws all labs Close resource and OT available You will be a critical care generalist trusted to handle what comes through the door Self-scheduling with input from Charge RNs who know their teams Day and Night Charge RNs each manage scheduling for their respective shifts Shifts Available Full-Time Days and Nights Part Time Days Full-time positions include a weekend rotation of 3 weekends per 6-week period Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill adult patients across the full acuity spectrum Titrate vasoactive drips and manage ventilated patients through rapid clinical changes Collaborate directly with on-floor intensivists and APPs Coordinate patient care activities across your assigned team each shift Participate in STEMI activations and high-acuity events with PER response team support What You Bring Active Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate licensure Minimum 1 year of critical care experience in a hospital ICU setting Demonstrated experience titrating drips BLS and ACLS certifications The profile we're looking for Strong clinical instincts and genuine comfort in fast-moving, ambiguous situations Communicator families trust when things are hard Manages competing priorities without losing the details Thrives in a team culture built on covering each other Compensation and Growth Base Pay: $38hr.-$53hr. $5,000 sign-on bonus Annual certification bonus for each active specialty certification Pathway to other hospital campuses and ambulatory roles within the system Unit-based educator on staff for ongoing clinical development Leadership structure on unit: ICU Director, ICU Manager, Unit-Based Educator, and 2 Charge RNs Why Atlanta Nurses Choose This Role The intensivist is not a phone call.
