Technical Support Engineer

Tonawanda, NY, or Burr Ridge, IL, United States | req31094 What you will enjoy doing You will troubleshoot plant operational issues and deliver timely, effective technical solutions to maintain safe and consistent production You will identify and lead small‑scale projects that improve plant reliability, efficiency, and overall performance You will support the safe, efficient startup of new production facilities and ensure operational readiness You will develop and deliver technical training to operations personnel to strengthen onsite capabilities You will establish and maintain best practices, technical standards, and critical alerts to drive consistency across operations You will utilize EAM systems to identify critical spares, optimize maintenance strategies, and improve asset availability You will partner with design and installation teams to enhance future plant designs and long‑term performance outcomes You will track and report KPIs, provide technical input for business opportunities, and support operations with up to 30% travel and occasional after‑hours support What makes you great You will meet the required qualifications with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a minimum of 4 years of relevant technical experience You will apply hands‑on experience in plant operations, maintenance, or industrial systems to support daily activities and problem resolution You will demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills to address complex technical challenges in industrial environments You will manage multiple priorities effectively while working independently to meet deadlines and operational needs You will communicate clearly and professionally through strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization You will collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to achieve shared goals and drive operational success You will maintain strong attention to detail and organization to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and consistency in all work tasks What we offer you! Open to salary range 90,000 - 132,000.
