Schedule: Full-time travel assignment; every other weekend required

Requirements:

• Active Michigan RN license (verification required via LARA and Nursys)
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment required
• Current BLS, ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required
• ICU experience required; CVICU experience preferred
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required

Responsibilities:

• Assess physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients
• Plan and implement nursing care according to patient and family needs
• Make appropriate clinical interventions based on individual patient needs
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions and adjust care plans accordingly
• Direct, coordinate, and delegate activities to foster patient and family-centered care
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory guidelines
