Employment Law Senior Attorney - PAGA

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employment Law Senior Attorney with expertise in the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) for their Sacramento, CA office. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in employment litigation and defense, with recent PAGA experience required. Duties Manage and oversee PAGA claims, including class action-style lawsuits. Develop and execute legal strategies for PAGA claims. Monitor and manage the discovery process. Provide counsel on compliance with California labor laws. Assist clients in developing policies related to wage and hour issues. Evaluate and advise on new legislation affecting PAGA claims. Foster and expand client relationships. Develop and deliver presentations on PAGA compliance. Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff. Requirements 10+ years of experience in employment litigation and defense. Recent PAGA experience within the last year. Jury trial or civil court trial experience preferred. Experience with public entity defense is a plus. Education Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degrees. Certifications Member, State Bar of California in good standing.
