Machinist SeniorFull-time Camarillo, CA Exclusive confidential search — details shared with qualified applicants.Become a Key Player as a Machinist SeniorYou will operate and set up CNC and conventional production machines to produce precision components for high-precision manufacturing. You will support production and quality stakeholders by delivering parts to specification, contributing to lean initiatives, and working 2nd shift onsite (1:45 PM – 11:15 PM, Monday–Friday).Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamSet up and run multiple production machines; perform machine operations including cutting, shaping, deburring, forming, drilling, and reaming partsPerform operations using pre-planned materials, tooling, and operation sequences; make machine adjustments and report issuesAlign and fasten work using standard fixtures; install and adjust cutting tools for the material being machinedAdjust feeds, speeds, and depth of cut to produce quality parts per documentationInspect parts using gauges, calipers, micrometers, comparators, and magnification equipment; perform visual inspections for burrs and surface damageMaintain equipment cleanliness and accuracy; perform routine maintenance specific to division requirementsAccurately perform statistical process control (SPC) and actively apply lean concepts to identify improvement opportunitiesObserve safety rules, maintain an orderly work area, and complete other related responsibilities as requestedHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleMinimum three years of related machining experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to set up machines and perform machine setups with limited guidanceExperience operating CNC lathes and performing precision machining to close tolerancesAbility to read and follow blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructionsWorking knowledge of machine shop mathematics (may include trigonometry)Experience inspecting parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and comparable measuring toolsDemonstrated ability to apply lean initiatives and work effectively in a team environmentEffective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsHere's What Else Might Help You OutMAZAK machine control experienceExperience with Y-axis machiningG-code programming, editing, or creating CNC programsExperience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX, Fusion 360, CATIA)Familiarity with GD&T and use of CMM or other advanced inspection toolsExperience in aerospace or other high-precision, regulated manufacturing environmentsPay Range$29.60 - $37.00/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
