Nursing-Bedside Position

Variable work shift, variable days, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, PRN (as needed) with part time commitment for orientation.

Job Description

Hours of operation are weekdays 11am-9pm and weekends are 9am-7pm. Part time is 20 hours per week. PRN is 3 shifts every 6 weeks but you must be able to orient at a PT commitment level for about 6 weeks. Performs nursing process while providing direct patient care in a safe and effective manner that promotes quality patient outcomes. Functions as member of interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Experience

• 12 months RN experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• 1 year of experience

Education

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing

Certification Summary

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) within 1 year of employment as required by department

Professional Mandatory Requirements

• Completes orientation and Initial Assessment of Competency successfully by determined due date.
• Completes mandatory education and annual competency assessment requirements as defined by unit and system by due date.
• 3.75% attendance at staff meetings, if applicable.
