OSP Project Manager

Overview Our client is a worldwide telecommunications company that offers voice, data and video services and solutions on its award-winning networks and platforms, delivering on customers’ demand for mobility, reliable network connectivity, security, and control. We are looking for a OSP Project Manager to develop and maintain project schedules and calendars with input from assigned OSP engineers. Location: Reston, VA / Halethorpe, MD - HYBRID Position: OSP Project Manager Pay: $51.54/hr on W2 Duration: 30 months or longer Hybrid opportunity: 2 days in the office / 3 remote (flexible on which days) Targeted Years of Experience: 3-5 years Responsibilities Develop and maintain project schedules and calendars with input from assigned OSP engineers Facilitate team meetings, providing meeting minutes and action items where needed Build strong communication channels with internal stakeholders in various departments: Sales, OSP Engineering (In-Franchise and Out of Franchise), Network Program Management, Operations, etc. Track tasks assigned to the project team and prepare regular status reports Responsible for tracking project changes and producing updated schedules Track budget Gather and report performance measurement of ongoing progress Ensure smooth communication within the project team and other cross-functional teams Interface with internal/external stakeholders on a regular basis Must Have Skills Understanding of Outside Plant (OSP) engineering and/or construction or experience in the field Background in project management in a field related to civil, environmental, or utility construction Ability to clearly articulate expectations and drive success Desired Skills Organization and the ability to multi-task Experience with MS Office suite of apps Experience with AutoCAD and/or Visio Education/Certifications Coursework in programs associated with project management, Outside Plant Engineering, and a PMPO certification is a plus This particular client may require all new hires show proof of vaccination.
