Job Opportunity: Endocrinologist

Our organization is in search of a Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist for a full-time faculty role, with the academic rank to be determined based on experience and qualifications. The practice caters to a diverse range of patients, addressing both common and rare endocrine disorders, and is bolstered by robust departments in Medical and Surgical Oncology, ENT-Head and Neck Surgery, Neurosurgery, Neuro-ophthalmology, as well as Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology, among others.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be expected to engage in various faculty activities, which include:

  • Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Providing patient care in outpatient settings
  • Conducting inpatient consultations for hospital services, including surgical, obstetrics and gynecology, labor and delivery, and psychiatry
  • Participating in clinical or laboratory research
  • Contributing to community service initiatives
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • MD or an equivalent terminal degree
  • Eligibility for a Louisiana medical license
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
