Garey Avenue Pomona, CA 91767OR RN Circulator for OPPNo Weekends, No Call, No HolidaysSurgical scrubs will be provided in the ORMinimum ADN, ACLS, BLS & PALSMinimum 1-2 years in outpatient surgery settings and in the operating room as an RN CirculatorKnowledge of Cerner for charting, quick learner, customer focused & willing to assist everyone in any manner for the purpose of patient care.Quick summary of major functions is: Primary RN in the operating room, providing patient care, and assisting the surgical tech, surgeon & anesthesiologist. Preparing the room for surgery, verify all critical elements are present to perform safe surgery. Assisting the anesthesiologist with intubation/extubation, and during nerve blocks. Ensuring patient is safe during surgery following policy/procedure with surgical counts, implants, time-out, specimens etc. Documenting everything accurately and efficiently in Cerner. Communicate with members of the team in a professional manner. Be knowledgeable of using the chain of command as necessary to escalate a difficult situation.
