The Role This is a high-impact position designed for an experienced real estate lawyer ready to manage complex transactional real estate matters autonomously. You will bridge the gap between deep legal expertise and commercial property execution, serving as a primary point of contact for sophisticated clients and driving deals to efficient, successful conclusions. Key Responsibilities Lead Complex Transactions: Structure, draft, negotiate, and close high-value real estate acquisitions and dispositions , joint ventures, and financing arrangements across multiple asset classes (retail, office, multi-family, industrial, and mixed-use development ). Property Development Lifecycle: Counsel clients through the entire development process, including zoning and land use regulations , construction contracts, operational agreements, and regulatory compliance. Institutional Leasing Programs: Lead comprehensive, multi-market leasing strategies for sophisticated institutional landlord clients across office, retail, and industrial portfolios. Strategic Client Partnership: Act as a crucial business and legal advisor to client C‑Suite executives, private equity partners, and acquisition teams, aligning real estate legal advice with broader business objectives . Mentor and Manage: Supervise junior real estate associates and paralegals on transaction execution, due diligence management, and title and survey review . What We’re Looking For: Texas Licensed: Must be an active member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Years of Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of dedicated, sophisticated real estate transactional experience (acquisitions, development, and joint ventures) within a robust law firm practice group or as in‑house counsel .
