Step into a pivotal role supporting high school students’ growth and success for the 26/27 academic year. As a Social Worker or Counselor, you’ll provide essential social-emotional services on a part-time contract basis—engaging directly with students and making a meaningful impact in a welcoming school environment near Philadelphia, PA.

In this opportunity, you’ll work two days a week, from 7:40 am to 2:40 pm, helping students thrive from now through June 11, 2027. You’ll be at the heart of student support, collaborating with staff, families, and other professionals.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Social Worker or equivalent Counselor credential (as required by the state)
• Experience working in a high school setting, preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and special education services
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to build trust and rapport with adolescents
• Proficiency in data collection and progress monitoring

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate small group and individual sessions to address social, emotional, and behavioral goals noted in students’ IEPs
• Collect and maintain data on student progress, behaviors, and interventions
• Complete progress reports and update IEPs for meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student outcomes
• Provide recommendations and resources to improve student well-being and academic engagement
