Radiation Oncologist

The Department of Radiation Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is seeking a radiation oncologist with priority given to candidates interested in genitourinary and/or in metastasis-directed and palliative radiotherapy. The radiation oncologist will employ all radiation modalities, including IMRT, SBRT/SRS, and proton beam therapy, within a multidisciplinary team caring for patients with genitourinary cancers and with metastatic disease across all primary sites. Candidates should have exceptional clinical competency but will also be expected to participate in education and research activities. Both current practicing radiation oncologists and graduating residents are encouraged to apply.The Mayo Clinic Department of Radiation Oncology in Rochester, Minnesota is a leading center for innovation and excellence in patient care. The department has a fully accredited residency program with 12 medical residents and the position includes participation in education efforts for residents and medical students. A wide diversity of treatment modalities are available, including six LINACs, a four gantry proton center, brachytherapy, SBRT, intraoperative radiotherapy, Gamma Knife, clinical trials, and translational research.
