Client Services Manager

Scion Staffing is excited to partner with an established professional services firm in Walnut Creek, CA to identify an experienced Client Services Manager. This position is ideal for a seasoned financial services professional who enjoys building trusted client relationships, managing detailed account information, and keeping complex administrative processes organized and moving forward.


Working closely with senior team members, the Client Services Manager will help oversee a portfolio of client accounts and serve as an important point of coordination between clients, internal staff, and outside professional partners. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, strong follow-through, and the ability to handle confidential financial and personal information with care.



Responsibilities

• Oversee the ongoing administrative needs of an assigned group of clients, ensuring account information, documentation, and records remain complete and current.
• Coordinate the setup of new accounts, including gathering documentation, tracking assets, organizing account information, and facilitating other onboarding needs.
• Maintain financial and tax-related records throughout the year and ensure necessary documentation is organized and available when needed.
• Work closely with internal leadership and outside professionals to coordinate client requests, resolve outstanding items, and keep account activities moving forward.
• Build responsive, professional relationships with clients, attorneys, financial professionals, and other external partners while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
• Contribute to client outreach and relationship-development activities, including responding to inquiries, providing information to prospective clients and professional contacts, and supporting general marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of professional experience within financial services, ideally involving trusts and estates, wealth management, fiduciary services, or a related area.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience working in a regulated environment with an understanding of the importance of compliance, accuracy, documentation, and confidentiality.
• Professional financial services credentials are preferred; an interest in pursuing additional fiduciary-related licensing or professional development is welcomed.
• Strong technology skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and Google Workspace, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills with a demonstrated ability to take ownership, prioritize competing needs, and follow projects through to completion.

Compensation & Benefits


This position offers a salary of $100,000-$110,000 annually, depending on experience. The organization also provides a strong benefits package that includes reimbursement toward medical insurance premiums, fully paid dental, vision, and life insurance, and a 6% dollar-for-dollar 401(k) match.
