Immediate need for a talented Registered Nurse Flex Pool (Med/Surg & Step Down). This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Hilo, HI (Onsite).

Compensation Pay Package: Please reach out for further discussion and negotiation. Regular Pay: $50.00 $60.00/hr (All-Inclusive Rate) Weekly Gross Pay: Please inquire (subject to completion of scheduled hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights 12-hour shifts (6:45 PM 7:15 AM)
• Expected Hours: 36 hours per week scheduled following first week of orientation No guarantee of hours

• Flex Pool variety float between Medical, Surgical Acute (Laulima), and Cardiovascular units never a dull moment!

• Medical Unit: 77 beds, ratio 1:6 for days/eves, 1:8 for nights
• Laulima (Surgical Acute): 18 beds, ratio 1:6
• Cardiovascular Unit: 15 beds, ratio 1:4
• Ratios may vary due to unexpected leaves
• Equipment: Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA preferred)
• PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC preferred
• Current Hawaii RN license required (must be active by start of assignment; apply upon acceptance of offer)
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Floating required to Medical, Laulima, and occasionally Cardiovascular units
• Holiday coverage required
• Professional nursing attire clean scrubs
• Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday
• Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity
• Housing and airfare will fluctuate depending on season please do research prior to submitting
• Locals are accepted no radius restriction
• This is a contract role no benefits included.
