Cook Position

Our client, a leading food service provider, is seeking a Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the culinary team supporting food preparation and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for cooking, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering quality food experiences, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook

Location: Ashland, VA

Pay Range: $19/hr

Shift: Morning & Evening, 8-hour shifts

What's the Job?

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and production guidelines
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
• Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen area
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE and uniforms
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality food service

What's Needed?

• At least 1 year of experience as a cook or in a related culinary role
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and safety regulations
• Ability to acquire food safety certification
• Basic math and counting skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
