• Beds: 167


• Covid vaccine required


• General Information


• Beds: 36


• Experience: 3 years


• First-time traveler: Upon review


• Patient Types:


• Multi specialty ICU - High acuity Neuro/post Cardiovascular surgery/medical/surgical/trauma ICU. CRRT


• No pediatrics/burns/transplants.


• Special competencies are required for post Cardiovascular recoveries, CRRT and neuro patients so contract staff may not be assigned to this population.


• Patient Ratios:


• 1:2


• Required Certifications:


• RN: BLS, ACLS NIHSS


• Skills required:


• trachs, vents, chest tubes, vasoactive drips, procedural recoveries, temporary pacemakers.


• Support on the Unit:


• CNA - 1:12


• Charge nurse does not take an assignment


• Centralized tele monitoring with a tech


• Bedside monitoring


• 24 hour Intensivist coverage on unit


• Mid-level coverage.


• Full time ICU educator


• CV coordinator


• Charting System/Equipment:


• EPIC


• Alaris


• Pyxis


• Floating:


• All medsurg units in rotation


• Orientation:


• 1 shift on the unit


• Scheduling:


• Weekend rotation: Every Other


• Can we approve time off? Up to 7 days


• No call requirements. Every other weekends, block scheduling may be available, but not guaranteed. I believe all ICU positions requested moving forward we are including a potential to float outside of ICU when needed. Called off 3 shifts per 13 week assignment
