Your RoleKey responsibilities in your new roleTesting and Maintenance: Automotive Systems Validation Engineer(post silicon) with hardware and software validation tasks including test execution, data collection, and data reporting to the cross-functional teamHardware Debug: Work with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, thermal probes, digital power supplies) to debug boards and other silicon evaluation board interfacesSoftware Support: Initially run basic Python scripts for data parsing, logging, and automated test control. Eventually, develop our own automation systems to work on top of existing onesSoftware Pipeline: Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD development and scalingData Analysis: Process and visualize test data using M365, Pyplot, or MATLAB to identify anomalies and summarize resultsDocumentation: Record test procedures, observations, and results in engineering trackers and contribute to test reports with engineering-level detailStandards Training: Learn and apply production-level engineering standards, safety practices, and validation workflowsCollaboration: Coordinate with cross functional teams to reproduce issues, escalate findings, and implement corrective actionsExpertise: Familiarity with IEEE standards (802.3 dm/ch), basic serial communication protocols (SCPs) such as MDIO/SPI/I2CYour ProfileQualifications and skills to help you succeedEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems EngineeringProgramming: Intermediate/Advanced Python familiarityInstrumentation: Basic hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, thermal probes, TDR, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, etc.)Data Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Pyplotor, MATLAB and Microsoft 365 for reportingSoft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
