Job Title : Lead Architect - Azure Cloud Migration & Modernization

Location : Remote

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Architect with strong Microsoft Azure technical expertise , particularly in cloud migrations and application modernization initiatives . The ideal candidate will combine hands-on architecture knowledge with strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities to drive successful transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architecture discussions and design solutions for Azure-based migration and modernization projects.
Provide technical leadership and guidance across cloud transformation initiatives.
Define target-state architectures, migration strategies, and modernization roadmaps.
Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and align architecture decisions.
Drive architectural governance while maintaining a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach.
Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure successful implementation.
Present architecture recommendations, risks, and technical solutions to senior stakeholders.
Stay current with Azure services, cloud-native technologies, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Architecture.
Proven experience leading Cloud Migration and Modernization programs.
Deep understanding of Azure services, cloud-native architectures, and modernization patterns.
Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to influence technical direction.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience facilitating architecture workshops and driving technical decision-making.
Ability to bridge business and technical discussions effectively.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring architects/engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

Azure Certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent).
Experience with enterprise-scale transformation programs.
Knowledge of DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, Containers, and Kubernetes is desirable.
