We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to join our client's team in the financial services industry. This is an opportunity for a highly skilled networking professional to lead enterprise network architecture, modernization, and security initiatives within a complex, highly regulated environment.

\n

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in enterprise network design, cloud networking, cybersecurity, and infrastructure transformation, along with the ability to lead strategic initiatives and collaborate with business and technology leaders.

What You'll Do

\n

\n
• Lead the design, architecture, and modernization of enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, performance, and resiliency.
\n
• Drive network transformation initiatives, including cloud migration, automation, and integration of emerging technologies.
\n
• Develop and implement network security standards, best practices, and architectural frameworks.
\n
• Lead enterprise network projects, translating business and technical requirements into scalable solutions.
\n
• Design and optimize network infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve network performance, operational efficiency, and security.
\n
• Lead network orchestration and automation initiatives to streamline processes.
\n
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on network architecture, infrastructure security, and technology integrations.
\n
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business teams.
\n
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery strategies to ensure network availability and resiliency.
\n
• Participate in architecture review committees and provide recommendations on network technologies and standards.
\n
• Lead Agile/SAFe sprint planning and support successful delivery of network initiatives.
\n
• Evaluate emerging networking technologies and recommend solutions that strengthen the organization's infrastructure.
\n

Required Qualifications:

\n

\n
• 7+ years of experience supporting, managing, and maintaining enterprise networking environments.
\n
• Strong expertise in enterprise network architecture, design, implementation, and security.
\n
• Experience designing and supporting networks across both cloud and on-premises environments.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, cryptography, network security, and infrastructure best practices.
\n
• Experience with network security controls, IT risk management, change management, and regulatory compliance.
\n
• Strong understanding of network resiliency, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
\n
• Experience leading complex technical projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
\n
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n

\n
• 3+ years of experience designing and owning enterprise-level network architecture changes.
\n
• Industry certifications or hands-on expertise with technologies from Cisco, Arista, Juniper, or Fortinet .
\n
• Experience with network automation, orchestration, and infrastructure modernization.
\n
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies.
\n
• Experience working in banking, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
\n
