Position Summary:


The responsibility of the Marketing Lead Specialist is to consistently represent Americare Communities in a way that enhances our presence in the greater community. This presence should ensure our positive reputation and support growth of occupancy within the Americare Communities they represent. This process begins with identifying the number of leads needed per community by establishing the metrics necessary to reach occupancy goal. The community's sales needs (unoccupied units) are assessed on a monthly basis and reviewed weekly by the Regional Sales Manager, RDO, Executive Director and the Marketing Lead Specialist. The time and effort will be directed toward lead generation and outreach activities. These activities include: executing first appointments with new sources, discovering the Referral Professional's needs, establishing next steps that are time and date specific and are agreeable, making recommendations that make sense to the Referrer and relaying any prospect through to Senior Living Advisor/Executive Director/Sales Specialist who leads the sales process through to a scheduled admission date. The Marketing Lead Specialist maintains key referral relationships in given communities through regular telephone, email and face-to-face interactions.

Essential Functions:

• Analyze the need for leads at assigned communities

• Evaluate the number of leads necessary to generate the needednumber of admissions months to month to either maintain orexceed occupancy goals.

• Understand the average selling cycle in a particular community,evaluate the time averages required to move generated leadsthrough the sales process (from initial inquiry, to first appointment,to 25%, 50%, 90% and closed)

• Compliance: Understands how to analyze the necessary leadgenerating activities that need to take place at a particularcommunity in order to achieve full occupancy and communicates aplan to execute those activities to the Regional Sales Manager,RDO, and executive director.

• Perform or ensure performance of needed follow-up on newreferrals and advise referral source of outcomes up to and includingadmission.

• Keeps accurate sales notes within our Customer RelationshipManagement System (CRM) on each active Referral Source andProspect name, complete with date/time specific next step.• Ensure that each prospect is placed in the correct category to trackreferral success.

• Directs the necessary effort to develop relationships with paid andunpaid Referral Sources.

• Validate referral to determine when to drop as invalid or nonqualified.• Competency: Effectively transfers valid referrals over to SeniorLiving Advisor/Executive Director/Sales Specialist to carry leadthrough the sales process from initial inquiry or first appointment.

• Retains Value of the Business.• Maintains the proper OUTREACH metrics within the sales activityboard in order to achieve the monthly sales goals of thecommunity.

• Understands the price of the service being sold and the impact ofnegotiated pricing and semi-private occupancy on the community'smargin.

• Gains a detailed understanding of competition's services in anassigned market.

• Identifies and recommends services to be dropped or developedrelated to market needs.

• Reporting: Responsible for updating the community's OUTREACH onSales activity board with respect to Referrals. Participates in weeklysales board call with community Executive Director and OperationsDirector and reports on progress on what has started and movedwith that community's referral base.

• Adheres to the Americare Mission/Vision, RISING Values, HomeTown Hospitality and F.A.M.I.L.Y. Values, Employee CultureStatement and Company Policy and Procedures.

• Outreach activities should occupy more than 90% of the MarketingLead Specialist's time. Additional activities include:

o Relationship building with community management/staffo Required corporate training/meetings.

Education and Experience

• Minimum 18 years of age with high school education

• Experience in skilled care or residential services for the elderlydesirable

• Background in sales and marketing preferred

• Preferred experience: minimum 1 year in senior living sales

Licenses

• Current driver's license and good driving record.

Work Environment and Expectations:

Position Overview

Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Minimum of 20 hours per week

Location: Field-Based

Travel: Up to 90% travel depending on assigned region


This job operates in a professional office or home office environment depending on location. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Operate a car for required travel.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perfo rm the essential functions of this job

.• Standing, sitting, walking, changing of position, reaching, extending hands & arms, reach across midline, crouching, balancing, kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting 25 lbs from sit to stand & push, pull, lower 100 lbs and push resident in wheelchair 350 lbs. Do not attempt to lift residents or support entire weight of resident. Lower resident to floor in the event of fall. Utilize two man lift procedure. Utilize required safety equipment.

Sensory Demands

• Auditory: to hear and understand verbal request,

• Visually: be able to read necessary information to complete work tasks,

• Verbally: communicate with customers and others on your team.

Safety Equipment

• When transferring a resident, gait belt, lumbar support, two man lift policy and use of mechanical lifts in noted facilities.

• Use of PPE is required when appropriate to prevent exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

• Use of seat belt when driving or riding in a vehicle, no use of cellphone while driving.

• Mandatory reporting of all work-related injuries within 12 hours to supervisor with participation in required documentation.

• Participation in our drug testing procedures is a mandatory part of employment with this facility.

OSHA Exposure

• Category II, possibility of bloodborne pathogen exposure but not apart of job requirements. Obtain qualified nursing staff in the eventexposure occurs.
