Scope of Position The Diagnostic Transportation Department provides safe, efficient, and patient-centered transport services across The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. The Training Specialist supports staff development, compliance, and operational readiness while providing hands‑on support to daily operations as needed. Position Summary The Diagnostic Transportation Training Specialist supports onboarding, education, compliance, and operational readiness of front‑line staff including Patient Transporters and Storekeeper I staff. This non-supervisory role partners with departmental leadership to ensure staff are trained, compliant, and aligned with departmental standards, while also providing dispatch and hands‑on operational support during high-volume periods. Minimum Qualifications For Hire: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required. Two years of relevant experience is required. Ongoing: Continued participation in required training, compliance education, and professional development as assigned. Thank you for your interest in working at Ohio State.
