TEAMWORK – ATTITUDE – PASSION – INTEGRITY – NEVER SATISFIED Position This Area Sales Manager (ASM) role is responsible for the direct management and leadership of the Lawrenceville territory, containing 10 surrounding cities and towns. The ASM will manage multiple sales channels including grocery stores, convenience stores, and on-premise sales accounts. The ASM leads the direction, execution, and reporting of outcomes to ensure revenue goals are met. The ASM also leads the Sales team to identify opportunities, establish goals and objectives to deliver the business plan, manage changes, ensure new program benefits are obtained, monitor key performance metrics, and manage resources efficiently. Responsibilities Maximize sales of all Hoffman Beverage products in the assigned territory by increasing brand awareness, package distribution, and display opportunities. Set the team up for success by motivating, coaching, training, and teaching how to deliver results. Provide honest assessments of the team for efficiency and improvement, and create developmental plans to support progress and career growth. Promote a fun, results-driven work environment that achieves results in a safe, professional, and ethical manner. Own customer service, relationships, and growth with internal and external customers through positive, profitable selling relationships with key accounts to drive execution of plans in the market. Utilize ABI selling tools to maximize opportunities. Lead cross-functional collaboration with other departments to ensure shared expectations are met and exceeded. Communicate problem areas and opportunities with respective pre-sales staff and inform Director, Grocery and/or VP of Sales of progress and deficiencies. Establish management routines to ensure communication between account managers, with input on merchandising standards, set integrity, product supply, forecasts, and capacity efficiencies to maximize revenue. Lead and motivate a team to deliver results through communication of goals, safety practices, deadlines, and development of team leaders/account managers via performance management and coaching. Implement continuous improvement while maintaining customer focus and embodying company purpose and TAP-IN values. Maintain Monthly Weekend Merchandising schedule. Attendance at sales and management meetings is mandatory. Must be available to attend scheduled retailer activities and participate in retailer entertainment during and after normal hours. Performs other duties as directed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's preferred. Valid VA Driver License – MVR must meet company standards. Pass criminal background and drug screen. Must be at least 21 years of age. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Advanced selling skills. Proven leadership ability, personnel management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical solving skills. Strong attention to detail. 5 years of progressive management experience in the beer or related industry preferred. Basic PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Sales system experience a plus. Ability to collaborate with others, internal and external customers. Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
