Job Description

The Mechanical Technical Support Specialist for Milking Machines plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer support and technical assistance. This position emphasizes reactive troubleshooting of mechanical issues, managing spare parts, warranty tracking, and contributing to new product development. The specialist will also assist with product repairs, maintain tools and workspace organization, and support marketing initiatives and order preparations. Training is provided, so prior experience with milking machines is not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with troubleshooting mechanical issues on milking machines
• Manage and follow up on customer support tickets to resolve problems effectively
• Coordinate with factory support when issues cannot be resolved internally
• Support customers in identifying and ordering correct spare parts
• Track warranty parts given away and maintain associated documentation
• Procure necessary external parts and materials for repairs or improvements
• Repair damaged products and implement product improvements
• Maintain availability and organization of tools and workbench area
• Test new products and coordinate with vendors for product approvals
• Research potential products to expand the company’s portfolio
• Assist with small order packing and machine preparation
• Support marketing efforts for expos, including equipment setup and multimedia assistance

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in mechanical technical support
