Position Title: Professional Land Surveyor Location: Greenbelt, Maryland (projects primarily within MD) Employment Type: Full-Time Benefits 401(k) Company parties Competitive salary Position Overview We are seeking a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our team and support a variety of projects throughout the state of Maryland. The ideal candidate is a surveyor who is comfortable working both in the field and in coordination with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver accurate, compliant, and timely survey results. Key Responsibilities Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, right-of-way, construction, and control surveys Prepare, review, and certify survey plats, maps, and related documentation Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to support roadway and transportation projects Provide technical guidance and quality control for survey data and deliverablesManage field operations, schedules, and priorities as needed Maintain accurate records, notes, and survey files Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding project status and requirements Required Qualifications Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the State of Maryland (required) 5+ years of professional surveying experience Strong working knowledge of Maryland surveying regulations Proficiency with standard surveying equipment and software Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Additional Requirements Must be willing to use personal vehicle for travel to project sites Mileage and vehicle use will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy Ability to perform field work in varying weather and site conditions Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 a year #J-18808-Ljbffr ELITE ENGINEERING LLC
