Procurement Lead

Divergent Alliance is seeking a Procurement Lead to manage sourcing and purchasing of electrical equipment and materials from our Algonquin, Illinois office. This role manages supplier relationships, purchasing and delivery coordination for medium-voltage equipment and project materials. Pay Range: $85,000 - $105,000 We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, paid company holidays, health insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan RESPONSIBILITIES Source, quote and negotiate electrical equipment and materials including switchgear, transformers, breakers, cable and terminations Manage supplier and manufacturer relationships and negotiate pricing and terms Issue and manage purchase orders, expediting and delivery coordination Track lead times, pricing trends and market availability and report to project teams Coordinate with engineering on equipment specifications and technical requirements Support inventory planning and stocking decisions Coordinate freight, logistics and receiving with warehouse personnel Resolve supplier quality, delivery and invoicing issuesSupport project teams with material cost and schedule information QUALIFICATIONS Three or more years of procurement, purchasing or supply chain experience Electrical equipment, construction materials or industrial products background preferred Experience with long-lead equipment and delivery coordination preferred Strong negotiation, organization and vendor management skills Proficiency with ERP or purchasing systems Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered #J-18808-Ljbffr
