The Dishwasher / Utility Worker plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our dining operations. This position assists with food preparation , ensures proper sanitation and maintenance of kitchen equipment , and supports the dietary team in delivering high‑quality meals to residents and guests. ✅ Follow diet orders and NPO diet guidelines. ✅ Assist cooks in preparing meals, desserts, and snacks (e.g., salads, desserts, sandwiches). ✅ Use proper food handling processes and safety procedures . ✅ Deliver trays to residents and serve meals in the dining area. ✅ Prepare between‑meal nourishments and offer menu substitutions per guidelines. ✅ Follow procedures for serving partner meals. ✅ Maintain cleaning, sanitizing, and proper maintenance of kitchen equipment . ✅ Communicate warmly and professionally with residents, families, and visitors. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
