Junior Accounting Assistant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Junior Accounting Assistant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $54,000 to $60,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Support basic accounting functions by completing bank reconciliations, processing payments, and preparing standard reports. Maintain tenant records and update information within property management systems while ensuring accuracy. Assist with daily administrative tasks including coordinating vendors, handling inquiries, and organizing documentation. Communicate with tenants, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and provide updates. Maintain organized records, prioritize tasks, and support office operations in a fast‑paced environment. Requirements 2+ years of experience using accounting software in a hands‑on role. Demonstrate basic Excel skills for data entry and simple reporting tasks. Show strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats with various stakeholders. Work independently while adapting to shifting priorities and business needs. Qualifications Support property management activities with familiarity in tenant and vendor coordination considered beneficial. Maintain a proactive and solution‑oriented approach when handling daily tasks and challenges. Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities in a small team environment. Build positive working relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members.
