Senior Specialist, Project Manager

Senior Specialist, Project Manager – Global Purchasing Services (Nutrition Division) Position located in Columbus, OH. The incumbent will manage global ingredient qualification projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely execution and compliance with internal and external requirements. Responsibilities Direct activities and personnel associated with global ingredient qualification projects to meet business objectives and project timelines. Identify critical project issues and risks, and communicate them in a timely manner to leadership and relevant project leads. Interface with external suppliers to collect necessary quality and compliance information. Utilize IT systems to execute qualification projects, track resources, and develop metrics. Plan, organize, and prioritize daily work to meet established project schedules. Exercise authority and judgment within defined limits to determine appropriate actions. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including global project teams, stakeholders, and external suppliers. Required Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Bachelor’s Degree. Proficiency in English with strong communication skills. Minimum 5 years of related work experience and a solid understanding of the functional area, leading high‑complexity, global projects. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree. Experience managing, communicating, and coordinating all phases of ingredient qualification, including Pre‑Qualification, Supplier Assessment, Ingredient Assessment, Finished Product Assessment Approval, and communication. Understanding of quality and compliance culture. Demonstrated skills in collaborating and influencing cross‑functional project teams. Demonstrated leadership competencies. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong planning and execution skills. Experience engaging external parties such as suppliers. Strong integration skills, able to coordinate all project or system aspects. Proficiency with Power BI, SharePoint, Planview, Devex, and Microsoft Office applications.
