We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team!
Job Summary
We are looking for dedicated and passionate Material Handlers with Forklift experience for a Metal Supply Store. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for performing general labor tasks, warehouse maintenance, using machinery to cut material, and safely loading and unloading materials with the use of a forklift. The Material Handler will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service to customers. We are seeking candidates who are extremely motivated to support all operational processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks with material.
- Cut and stock material.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in finding what they need.
- Operate a Point-of-sale System.
- Lifting heavy materials.
- Operate a forklift to handle material.
- Safely Operate machinery.
- Maintain a clean, organized and hazard-free work area.
- Follow all safety standards and protocols.
- Keep work area and warehouse neat and organized.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have reliable means of transportation.
- Must work Saturdays. 8-2
- Knowledge of steel is preferred.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
- Must be able to lift 70+ LBS
- Must have good people skills with an outgoing and friendly attitude.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Motivated self starter.
- Quick learner.
