We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team!

Job Summary

We are looking for dedicated and passionate Material Handlers with Forklift experience for a Metal Supply Store. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for performing general labor tasks, warehouse maintenance, using machinery to cut material, and safely loading and unloading materials with the use of a forklift. The Material Handler will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service to customers. We are seeking candidates who are extremely motivated to support all operational processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks with material.
• Cut and stock material.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in finding what they need.
• Operate a Point-of-sale System.
• Lifting heavy materials.
• Operate a forklift to handle material.
• Safely Operate machinery.
• Maintain a clean, organized and hazard-free work area.
• Follow all safety standards and protocols.
• Keep work area and warehouse neat and organized.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable means of transportation.
• Must work Saturdays. 8-2
• Knowledge of steel is preferred.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 70+ LBS
• Must have good people skills with an outgoing and friendly attitude.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Motivated self starter.
• Quick learner.
