Sr. Machine Learning Engineer, Responsible AI

Salary: $189,721 - 332,012 per year Requirements:

• We bring extensive hands-on experience applying advanced machine learning methods in production environments, with a strong background in responsible technology, fairness, ethics, and broader social impact.
• We have deep familiarity with modern ML architectures such as transformer-based models, two-tower systems, LLMs, and VLMs, especially in large-scale search and recommender systems.
• We can measure, deploy, and improve fairness interventions and Responsible AI solutions at scale, translating cutting-edge research into meaningful product outcomes.
• We have at least 4 years of experience on engineering teams building large-scale ML-powered user-facing products.
• We have at least 1 year of experience leading cross-functional engineering initiatives.
• We hold a Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.

• We design and lead Responsible AI initiatives that identify, reduce, and prevent bias across a broad range of ML applications, including Gen AI evaluations, foundation model safety tuning and alignment, and red teaming.
• We partner with engineering teams across trust and safety, ML platform, content understanding, search, and homefeed to share platforms, signals, and tooling for Responsible AI and ML fairness adoption.
• We mentor junior engineers on our Responsible AI team and across the company.
• We work with our team and senior leadership to shape and execute technical strategy in this area.
