Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states. This position is located in Jamaica Plain, MA at a hospital facility. Night shift coverage is required as described below.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field as required by individual clients.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• In licensure states, laboratory licensure in the appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state.
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Experience working in a hospital laboratory environment.
• Experience with clinical chemistry testing workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 10-hour night shift schedules and rotating weekend coverage.
• Prior experience in high-volume or academic hospital laboratories.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 2100 - 0730.
• 10-hour shifts with a rotating schedule, including every other weekend.
