Body Shop Painter / Automotive Paint Technician – Now HiringWe are seeking an experienced Body Shop Painter / Automotive Paint Technician to join our growing commercial truck dealership. This role is responsible for preparing vehicles for paint work through sanding, masking, surface prep, and minor body repairs to ensure high-quality finishes and consistent dealership standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSand, prep, and finish vehicle panels for priming and paintingMask and tape panels, trim, windows, and components for paint applicationsPerform minor body repairs, dent repair, and surface correctionDisassemble and reassemble trucks and components for paint and repair processesAssist with equipment maintenance, including cleaning spray guns and toolsMaintain overall body shop cleanliness, organization, and safety standardsComplete additional tasks as assigned by the Body Shop ManagerPreferred Skills & QualificationsValid driver's license requiredExperience with: Primer application and surface prepSingle-stage, base coat/clear coat systemsPaint tinting, blending, and color matchingProficiency with automotive hand tools and power tools (preferred)Ability to perform physically demanding work, including: Standing for 6–8 hoursFrequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reachingComfortable working in environments with exposure to: Noise, vibration, dustPaints, solvents, chemicals, and cleaning solutionsAbility to lift and move up to 70 poundsWhy Join Our Team?Stable, full-time work in a professional dealership environmentOpportunity to grow and build your skills in automotive refinishingSupportive team focused on quality, safety, and craftsmanship
